LUMC Roots and Wings

The Children's Ministry at Littleton United Methodist Church provides ministry for children from infancy through 5th grade. Children's Ministry exists to Teach children about Christ. Recognize their spiritual gifts and Advance them along their spiritual journey. Create a sense of community and fellowship. Keep the knowledge of the truth in their hearts and share the Good News with others. It is our desire that the "training" they receive here will be taken with them throughout their lives. This is accomplished through our extensive Sunday School program (Roots and Wings) and various other programming offered as well as special events. We strive to create an environment where children feel safe so they can grow and discover the difference the love of Jesus Christ can make!
The name and theme of the entire children's area is "Roots and Wings". Our children are rooted safely beneath our beautiful sanctuary and we as a church are guiding and teaching them to eventually spread their wings and fly into the world confidently with the love of Christ to guide them on the journey.
